Control Equipment
CCTV systems inevitably require some form of image (data) storage. Over recent years analogue video cassette recorders (VCRs) have largely been superseded by digital video recorders (DVRs).
One of the major benefits of a DVR is hard drive storage. A VCR relies on videotapes with the disadvantages of slow searching, bulky storage and degradation of both tapes and VCR recording heads.
DVRs can be installed to cater for one, four, nine or sixteen cameras. Hard drives are supplied with the appropriate storage capacity to suit the data storage and recording quality required.
Images and clips can easily be downloaded to external devices such as USB sticks or CDs.
Many DVRs are now networkable, allowing for transmission of images across either your own networks or ADSL. This enables remote access and control both for users and for maintenance/online diagnostics.
Monitors can be supplied to accommodate any solution, with flat screen being available where required.
Aspect can specify and arrange the installation of bespoke consoles for a professional finish to your control room.
